I wanted to put this up for Nayeli's birth defect awareness. My friend Terri, Ava's mommy put this together a few months back. Terri and her sister Tamra wrote the song played in the video. The name of it is "Little Angels." Some are here on this earth with us. We call them Earthly angels. The ones that God couldn't let go of are called our Heavenly angels. I want to honor our little ones that were affected with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.
I watched this video for the first time when Nayeli was still inside of me. I didn't know what was going to happen to Nayeli. This video gave me hope. I cried my eyes out when I first watched it. I still cry watching it. Get tissue.

Liz and Shane,
Hope all is well with you this weekend. The video is very touching. I'm doing my best to spread awareness here in Alaska. Maybe a letter to our Governor is in order--she is a national figure supportive of special needs children, after all! John says hi to your little California girl. :)

Shane and Liz..I too saw this video before and was really moved by it..it brought back so many memories of 25 years ago for me and my son. You will be able to add to that with pictures of hope of nayeli...to inspire another family not to give up....So many of us have been so truly blessed..and must NEVER take it for granted!! Love and prayres, gail
Hi,
I know you don't know me, but I saw Nayeli's blog on Ava's blog and have been following her story and praying for her from the beginning. I too am a CDH Mommy. My son Samuel Craig is in the video Little Angels. I know how it feels to get that first diagnosis and to see what your baby's odds of living are, but your faith has amazed me. Samuel is 3 yrs. old now and had we had not held on to our faith in God, I think I would have went insane at times. I will still be praying for Nayeli.

Well - in Answer to Megan - we are finalizing our materials to help with the letter writing to governors!
I love that video too - and if I go to the website to do something for "business" - I always have to turn the sound off - or I will start blubbering too!
All these Angels are amazing!
