Phone Call to the Nurse

On Monday we called Naeyli's Doctor. Nayeli's nurse called us back and said her Dr. is out of the office for the week. We told her about Nayeli vomiting for a few nights. She asked if she was congested in any of those nights. We told her that on Thursday night she was. We were told by Nayeli's nurse the vomiting could've been triggered by her being congested. We told her that she did not vomit on Sunday night. We had a tentative appt. for this morning if Nayeli vomited again last night. She didn't. We are so thankful. Nayeli is doing much better and hasn't thrown up for two nights. She has had some spit up during the day and one spit up last night at 1am. Nayeli's nurse said if she vomits again this week to bring her in but for now it is not necessary. We have an appt for Nayeli to get her #4 RSV on the 9th so we hope to talk to her Dr then. We will beg him to do additional testing to give us peace of mind that nothing serious is going on.

Thank you you for your continued support and prayers. We hope and pray there is nothing to be worried about.

Glad to hear the vomiting has stopped. It's never anything simple in the mind of a CDH mom, is it? I can't get over how big she's getting.

She looks so sweet in this picture, ok every picture you post. Even reading other's stories, such as yours makes me worry and my mind ponder. I can't remember, did you say that she had acid reflux??? If she is on meds for it, maybe they should increase them since she is growing. Meds never worked for Kaden and he ended up needing a fundo. Is she a good burper??? I know you have said she is a gassy baby, hopefully she will out grow that. Kaden was very gassy and he has pretty much outgrown it.

Anyway, these are things you probably have thought about, but like I said my mind just starts thinking of all of the different possiblities. I hope that your doctor looks into it more, I know how important it is as a mommy to know that you have tried everything possible to find answers, especially if there can be a fix.

Thinking of you all,
Amy

Glad to hear she has stopped. Sometimes these little boogers like to show out just to remind us who's boss. Praying for a vomitless week!

God Bless,

Shane and Liz..it sounds promising since she is not throwing up so much any more...you know, it may have been a little virus...as much as we try to keep them free from illness, it somehow always creeps in...anyway..she is beautiful as always...keep us posted..and we will continue our prayers for that precious little one...love, gail

I hope you get answers at your next appointment and the nurse is right congestion can cause some vomiting - but if you are concerned go with your gut.

Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers,
Elizabeth
