My Girl

We are excited that the weather is warming up because that means its almost time for Nayeli to be able to go into crowds and have visitors. We received a call from her pediatrician a couple of weeks ago regarding her last RSV vaccine. They told us they are going to cancel it for the month of April because RSV is low nationwide. We think that RSV being low is great news but we are still worried about not getting the vaccine. We are looking forward to see what UCSF has to say to us at the end of the month. Nayeli has had some reflux but overall is doing great. UCSF has told us to start having her eat solids once she turns 6 months or wait until we see them. I have been loosing alot of my hair lately that I think I am looking bald on the front of my forehead. Shane has to unclog the drain alot. I cut my hair shorter too since Nayeli has been pulling on it alot lately. Nayeli has figured out how to roll onto her tummy and back onto her back. Most of the time she gets stuck on her belly and gets upset.

I couldn't decide which pictures to put up on our blog so here is a slideshow. I got teary eyed watching it. Enjoy!

Yesterday I went to visit Kristi and Craig at UCSF. I met their baby boy Kaden. Kaden is fighting CDH right now. Kaden was put on ECMO yesterday. Shane and I have been praying for them. Please pray that he gets stronger each day.

What a beautiful video/slideshow of Nayeli...she is sooo cute!! Seeing her play in her entertainment saucer, is just adorable and to think how far she has come!! What a miracle!!

Praying hard for Kaden that he remains stable and his lungs are getting stronger. The support and friendship and just being there for Kristi and Craig, I am sure means the world to them. Thanks for sharing a picture of the warrior. Fight Kaden Fight!!

Hugs, Tracy - Ian's mom

Do you remember when Katie Holmes got married and she had those teeny tiny "bangs" in the front from losing her hair after having Suri? Well....that's me! There's hair all over the bathroom.

Carter thinks Nayeli looks great in her sunglasses. He's ready to take a stroll with her :)

I haven't checked your blog in a while -- OMG Nayeli is growing so much! She is a cutie pie!

I'm so glad that RSV is low right now. Claire didn't qualify for her shots this year and I've been worried about her catching it.

That's great that you live close enough to visit Kaden's parents and give them some support.

About 6 months after Claire was born I thought I was going bald too :-) My hubby can tell you all about the hair in the shower drain. But it returned to normal a few months later, so hang in there.

I just found your blog through baby Carter's blog and I read pretty far back to get caught up on your little one. I just wanted you to know how simply precious she is that I will pray for her every day. I am so glad to see that she is doing so well.
