Happy Easter!

Yesterday I noticed a bluish spot on Nayeli on her lower back. I got worried and told Shane. Nayeli had been eating fine, no fever and was acting normal. We called Kaiser our HMO. The nurse told us it's a birth mark and it's called Mongolian spot. The nurse said it usually goes away by the age of 2 or 3. I called my mom and told her about it and she told me I had the same thing as a baby and so did my niece and nephew and it went away. I was relieved to hear this. This morning when I was burping Nayeli she was trying to reach out for something next to me I didn't know what it was until I looked over my shoulder. It's the gift that Angel Elli gave Nayeli before she was born. Shane grabbed the camera and started to film Nayeli. Everytime I would lean back away from the cross she would fuss and wanted to get closer to touch it. Shane and I were in Awwww over Nayeli doing this on Easter.
We received a gift from Marion and Jason, Angel Addison's mommy and daddy yesterday. We hung it up next to Angel Elli's gift. We are so touched by Jason and Marion's gift.Shane and I took turns going to Church today for Easter Service. We are looking forward the day we can bring Nayeli with us to church. We took pictures of her in her cute dresses. All dressed up but no where to go. We are so amazed each day over how big and strong Nayeli is getting. She is growing so fast. Nayeli was crying when I got home from church this morning. Shane was holding her to soothe her and Nayeli said MaaaMaaaa during her cry. I hope this counts as her saying MaMa first. Shane was sad and was hoping she would say DaaaDaaa. I think she has been talking with Carter because he said Maa to Kellie yesterday while he was crying too. Yesterday Shane went to visit our friends Kristi and Craig's baby Kaden at UCSF who is fighting CDH. I plan on going today. Shane just got word from Craig that Kaden off of ECMO today and he is doing well. We are praying for Kaden everyday. Please pray for Kaden to fight CDH and get stonger.

She is so cute!!! :)

We've been brave with Cadenne and have never kept her home. Maybe it is the difference between Northern California and Southern as far as the risk? I asked several doctors, and they just said to keep her away from sick people, don't pass her around, and wash hands a ton. RSV season is now over, so she's in the nursery full time now!

Schools of thought are so interesting!
