Nayeli was diagnosed with severe Left Congential Diaphragmatic Hernia (LCDH) during her 18 week ultrasound, on June 4, 2008. We created this blog to keep family and friends updated, and to raise overall awareness of CDH. During my pregnancy I always read this verse Psalm 121:1-2 I lift up my eyes to the hills where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

thank you! You must've been reading my mind! I was just saying that she looked to be a healthy weight and length... but you never said :-)
She's beautiful!
I am so happy to read up on Nayeli! What a blessing she is! She is such a fighter. We are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Be sure to rest up, because Nayeli isn't going to slow down!
Take care,
amy
Liz,
I've been checking in on you all several times a day, but I haven't gotten a chance to tell you how excited I am about her progress. She is doing great and I know ya'll must just be walking on that mountain top to see how God is delivering her from all of this. I know you're so afraid to allow yourselves to think that the worst is behind you, but one day soon, the doctors will tell you that it is okay to believe it. The weight of the world will be lifted and you can really start to reflect on and absorb all the blessings of the situation that has kept you in a frightful place for so long. She's gorgeous and I'm so happy for the three of you. I'll keep checking in and praying (including Liz's rest on the prayer list).
Liz and Shane,
She is a beautiful girl! I am so happy that she is doing well. I can't wait for you to bring her home and I can see her face to face. She totally has Liz's eyes. I hope you are getting good rest Liz...you need to be strong for her so make sure you are taking care of yourself and getting lots of rest.
Love
Gina
